RiRi admits that people often think she's rude because she isn't always open and chatty when she meets new people.

She told WPGC radio: "I don't really open up to a lot of people, usually I go very quiet. If I don't know someone often I don't say very much, I observe and people think I am snooty because of that.

"People assume that I'm a b***h. But I don't think that I am. I just don't feel I have to be that enthusiastic if I don't know who you are yet."

One couple Rihanna always feels at ease with is her good pal Katy Perry and her new fiance Russell Brand because they make her “die laughing.”

“They are always kidding around and making jokes,” she said. “When I’m with them I just die laughing. They are both hilarious but together they are even funnier to be with.

She thinks the duo is so hilarious a movie studio should consider giving them their own movie. “It’s only a matter of time before they end up in a movie together or something,” she added.

Angelikuwa hai nani asingependa kusoma mahojiano yake? Inasemekana Mbaraka Mwinshehe alikufa kutokana na kuvuja damu nyingi na asipatikane wa kumchangia damu ili kuokoa maisha yake. Mbaraka alianza kujitengenezea jina kwenye medani ya muziki wakati alipokuwa mmojawapo ya wanamuziki waliokuwa wanaunda bendi maarufu ya Morogoro Jazz kati ya mwaka 1964 mpaka 1973. Baadaye ndipo alipoanzisha bendi yake mwenyewe iliyojulikana kama Super Volcano mwaka 1973. Alidumu na kutamba na Super Volcano mpaka mauti ilipomfika miaka sita baadaye. Kuimba alijifunza kutoka kwa Salum Abdullah, mwanzilishi wa Morogoro Jazz ambaye baadaye alijiengua na kwenda kuunda Cuban Marimba Band.

Hii hapa ni baadhi tu ya miziki ya Mbaraka Mwaruka Mwinshehe ambayo inatufanya tuendelee kumkumbuka daima. Lala pema peponi.

Biography
The tragic 1979 death of 31-year-old Minnie Riperton silenced one of soul music's most unique and unforgettable voices — blessed with an angelic five-octave vocal range, she scored her greatest commercial success with the chart-topping pop ballad "Lovin' You." Riperton was born in Chicago on November 8, 1947; as a youth she studied music, drama, and dance at the city's Lincoln Center and later contemplated a career in opera. Her pop career began in 1961 when she joined the local girl group called the Gems, signing to the famed Chess label to release a handful of singles as well as lend backing vocals to acts including Fontella Bass, the Dells, and Etta James. After graduating high school, Riperton went to work at Chess as a receptionist; following the Gems' dissolution, she also signed with the label as a solo act, releasing a single, "Lonely Girl," under the alias Andrea Davis.

In 1968, Riperton was installed as the lead vocalist of the psychedelic soul band the Rotary Connection, which debuted that year with a self-titled LP on Cadet Concepts; the singles "Amen" and "Lady Jane" found a home on underground FM radio, but the group failed to make much of an impression on mainstream outlets. While still a member of the Connection, Riperton mounted a solo career; teaming with producer/arranger Charles Stepney and her husband/composer Richard Rudolph, she issued her brilliant debut, Come to My Garden, in 1970, but again commercial success eluded her grasp. After the Rotary Connection dissolved in the wake of 1971's Hey Love, she and Rudolph took a two-year sabbatical in Florida before relocating to Los Angeles, where she sang on Stevie Wonder's Fulfillingness' First Finale and toured as a member of his backing unit Wonderlove.

Wonder agreed to co-produce Riperton's 1974 album Perfect Angel, which contained the international blockbuster "Lovin' You"; the record made her a household name, although subsequent LPs like 1975's Adventures in Paradise and 1977's Stay in Love failed to repeat its success. By this time, however, commercial woes were the least of Riperton's concerns — diagnosed with breast cancer, she underwent a mastectomy in 1976, later becoming a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society and earning a Society Courage Award from then-President Jimmy Carter. Riperton continued performing despite her declining condition, with 1979's Minnie the final record completed during her lifetime — she died in L.A. on July 12 of that year. Unreleased vocal tracks with new instrumental backing comprised 1980's posthumous collection Love Lives Forever.

The songbird was seen without her bikini top when filming the promo to her latest single in Bangor, Northern Ireland yesterday.

And when farmer Alan Graham spotted her antics he insisted she stick some more clothes on.
He said: “I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did.
“I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I’m coming from. We shook hands.”
Graham, who is a member of the local council, admitted to not knowing who the chart-topper was when he was asked for the use of his land for the clip last week.
He added: “I didn’t know who was coming. If the name Rihanna had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it wouldn’t have meant anything.”

The shoot took place on the farmer’s land near to a dual carriageway.
And the farmer insisted he was within his rights to tell the singer to cover up.

He added: “From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate.
